The Aston Villa ace was bitterly disappointed following his side’s back-to-back defeats last week.

Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and shared how much his side’s last two defeats hurt him, stating that he was absolutely devastated.

The Villans now sit in fourth position in the Championship table, seven points adrift of second placed Cardiff City, having played a game more than Neil Warnock’s men.

Steve Bruce’s side embarked on a terrific run after losing 2-1 to Brentford on Boxing Day, losing just one league game up until last week’s consecutive defeats.

Grealish, who has made 19 Championship appearances for Villa this term, opened up on how devastated he was in the aftermath of his side’s defeats to Queens Park Rangers and Bolton Wanderers over this past week, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“Waking up the morning after QPR, and then Bolton, I was hurt. Probably more so than after any other result since I broke into the first team. I was absolutely devastated.”

Next up for the Villans is a trip to Hull City on March 31st, before they play host to Reading just three days later, and nothing less than a pair of victories will do, if they are to keep alive their hopes of achieving automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
