It appeared early this week that Jack Grealish and Tammy Abraham may never play together again.
Loanee Abraham was linked with a move to Wolves, while Grealish is on the sidelines with injury.
Grealish is now closing in on a return, and thanked staff at a fitness centre this morning for helping him with his recovery.
He posted a message on Instagram which offered hope he is not far off a comeback.
Villa teammates Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham both responded to Grealish’s comment.
Abraham in particular made clear is looking forward to Grealish’s Villa return.
Grealish had posted a message to his social media earlier in the week celebrating Abraham’s decision to stay put at Villa.
The bond between the pair seems strong, and this can only mean good news on the pitch for Villa when they link up again soon.
