Aston Villa’s official Twitter account has been stirring the pot, with Anwar El Ghazi and Tyrone Mings now locked in a training ground battle.

Aston Villa’s Anwar El Ghazi and Tyrone Mings already appear to have be having an ongoing battle on the training ground, after making their moves to the club permanent this summer.

Mings first published a video of himself scoring an absolute belter in training, and suggested that El Ghazi needed to close him down far better.

But the Villa winger got his own back, as he nutmegged the centre-back in training yesterday and was only too keen to post the video on social media.

Mings and El Ghazi were key players for Villa last term, as they earned promotion to the Championship.

There seems to be a really good team spirit around Villa at the moment, with the players clearly enjoying each other’s company, even though a lot of change has happened this summer.

Dean Smith has brought in 14 new signings this summer, which has made Villa the busiest side in the Premier League by a distance.

Villa begin their Premier League campaign next weekend, when they take on Tottenham Hotspur.
