Aston Villa youngster Lewis Kinsella suffered relegation with his loan club Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend.
Aston Villa defender Lewis Kinsella suffered a ‘double relegation’ this weekend.
Kinsella, who is just 21 years of age, suffered relegation from the National League with Kidderminster Harriers.
Harriers’ 11-year stay in the top tier of the non-league football ended on Saturday afternoon following a goalless draw with Barrow at home.
The youngster joined Harriers from Villa in March 2016 on a loan deal which has since been extended until the end of the season.
Also on Saturday afternoon, Villa were officially relegated from the Premier League to the Championship.
The Villans’ 1-0 to Premier League and European giants Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford confirmed their move down a tier.
It must have been really tough on Kinsella, who was unlucky to get relegated twice in a single day.
Hopefully for the youngster, who is rated highly and has a lot of potential, he will not allow this to affect him and will continue with his football development.
