Aston Villa are said to be preparing a bid for Manchester United’s Axel Tuanzebe in the summer.

Aston Villa would be making a smart move by bringing back Axel Tuanzebe next season, as the Birmingham Mail have suggested they are planning.

Tuanzebe joined Villa on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window, but his progress has been halted so far.

The youngster has picked up an injury, which has kept him out for months.

However, Tuanzebe’s first few appearances for Villa proved what an asset he could be.

The 20-year-old prospect looked at home in Villa’s first-team, during the time he was playing for them.

Tuanzebe caught the eye with his energy and enthusiasm, combined with his ability get forward from right-back.

And Steve Bruce would be wise to bring Tuanzebe back to Villa Park for next season, if the opportunity arises, as the prospect could be a key player for his side.
