Aston Villa summer signing Trezeguet and Liverpool forward Mo Salah are international teammates with Egypt.

Aston Villa winger Trezeguet has stated on Twitter that Mo Salah is ‘always the best’ as he was seemingly referring to the Liverpool man not being in the shout for Fifa’s men’s player of the year.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi walked away with that prize on Monday evening, with the Argentina maestro beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Salah’s Liverpool teammate Virgil van Dijk to that prize, as reported by BBC Sport.
Last season, Salah helped Liverpool finish second in the Premier League table, but most importantly he helped the club win their sixth European crown.
But despite the thriving attacker not being recognised, his international teammate, and Villa winger Trezeguet sent this message from his personal Twitter account about the £34 million player [BBC Sport].
There’s no doubt that Messi and Ronaldo are the benchmarks for every footballer across the world, as they have set the mark at ridiculously high standards.
It could be argued that Salah has surprised many at Liverpool with his performances, and the volume of goals he has scored for the Merseyside giants.
In his career for Liverpool so far, he has found the back of the net on 75 occasions from 113 matches in all competitions and already has four Premier League goals to his name this season [transfermarkt].
The big test for Salah and his manager will be to win the Premier League title this term, as they currently sit top of the table after six matches.
