Luxembourg international Enes Mahmutovic is set to leave his club Fola Esch this summer with reports in his home country suggesting Aston Villa remain keen on the teenage defender.

The 19-year-old defender is apparently wanted by Villa, after he impressed on trial at the club earlier this year.

The teenage centre-back has fast become one of his nation’s most highly regarded young talents ever and is being linked with plenty of moves abroad in the summer.

So Villa are not alone in the hunt for the player. It is reported by Le Quotidien that French side Lille and German outfit Kaiserslautern are also interested in signing the player this summer.

He made his international debut for the Luxembourg senior side earlier this year and Aston Villa may also have Championship rivalry for his signature. Middlesbrough are keen on the player, with Le Quotidien reporting the player impressed on a recent four-day trial with the recently relegated side.

All that is for sure is that Mahmutovic is a hot property right now and whoever gets him might just be snapping up a hidden gem.
