We round up the latest transfer rumours involving Aston Villa.

Scott Sinclair latest

Aston Villa striker Scott Sinclair has been linked with a move to Celtic for much of the summer so far, and Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers has done little to quell the rumours with his comments to the Scottish Herald.
Rodgers was asked whether he was interested in signing Sinclair from Villa.
And he said: “Scotty is a young talented lad that I know really well but he is still an Aston Villa player. Until anything done there is nothing to say.”
Celtic have reportedly made four bids for Sinclair so far this summer, but Villa have knocked them all back.
Xia asks for patience

Villa chairman Tony Xia has asked for patience, as he searches for more players.
Villa want to bring in a striker and an attacking midfielder before the close of the transfer window.
It seems that the Claret and Blues still have some work to do to get some deals over the line, though.
Finally…

The Hull Daily Mail suggest that Villa are willing to offer Rudy Gestede and money in exchange for Hull City striker Abel Hernandez.
Hernandez netted 20 goals in the Championship last term, and reportedly features highly on Roberto Di Matteo’s transfer wishlist.
