We round up all the latest transfer rumours surrounding Aston Villa.

Patrick Bamford

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Aston Villa are keen to sign Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford.
The 22-year-old is available for loan, and Villa believe he would enhance their attacking options.
Bamford is also a transfer target for Wolves, Celtic and QPR – as the chase for the striker hots up.
Micah Richards

The Sunderland Echo report that Micah Richards will not be leaving Aston Villa to join Sunderland.
The Black Cats have been heavily linked to Richards throughout the transfer window so far, with numerous reports suggesting that the Wearsiders were willing to pay £5 million for the powerful defender.
However, Sunderland have apparently rejected their chance to sign Richards – as they feel there are better options out there.
And finally…

Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies has kept coy when asked whether his side are interested in Villa forward Scott Sinclair, by the Daily Record.
Celtic are believed to have had a series of offers rejected for Sinclair, but Davies would not confirm whether the striker was on Brendan Rodgers’ wishlist.
“It would be disrespectful of us to talk about players at other clubs,” he said.
“We are working hard behind the scenes to try to bring people in who can make a difference.
“It has to be the right deal for the right player.”
