Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is keen on signing Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Aston Villa want Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic

Marca have reported that Villa are ready to go big for the Juventus striker.

Villa manager Emery is doing extremely well at the moment, and the Villans reportedly want to go to the next level by bringing in the Serbia international striker.

Arsenal, Emery’s former club, have also been linked with Vlahovic as well.

CMW reported in April that Arsenal are keen on signing Vlahovic from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Gunners are ready to make an offer for the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) Serbia international striker, who is “lightning” and whose “left foot is like a wand”, according to former Manchester City and Fiorentina defender Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live in December 2021.

TMW have reported that Vlahovic’s agent has offered the striker to Arsenal.

Unlikely to happen

We do not think that Aston Villa will be able to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus ahead of Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Yes, of course, the Villans are going places under Emery, but it is hard to see the youngster leave Juventus for a club who will not be in the UEFA Champions League this summer.

And if his agent has offered him to Arsenal, then it shows the kind of club that the striker is eyeing a move to.

The Gunners could win the Premier League title this season and will play in the UEFA Champions League next campaign.
