Unai Emery’s Aston Villa want to sign Anthony Gordon from Frank Lampard’s Everton in the January transfer window, but there is interest in the winger from Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United as well, according to 90min.
Aston Villa want to sign Everton winger Anthony Gordon
The report published this morning has claimed that Newcastle, Villa, Forest and Leicester all are interested in signing Gordon from Premier League rivals Everton this month.
The Toffees are open to selling the 21-year-old England Under-21 international winger in January and will consider offers for the youngster, according to the report.
Could a January transfer happen?
In our view, Aston Villa could be able to sign Anthony Gordon from Premier League rivals Everton in the January transfer window.

If the Toffees are open to selling the winger, then it is very much possible that the Villans will be able to secure his services.
Now, of course, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City all are keen on Gordon, which will make it tough for Villa to get a deal done.
However, if the Villans make a good offer to Gordon and outbid their rivals, then they could be able to bring the winger to Villa Park in the middle of the season.
