Aston Villa reportedly want Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo.

Aston Villa continued their spending spree on Monday by securing defender Kourtney Hause on a permanent basis, making him their fourth summer signing.
Hause joins Jota and Wesley at Villa Park, whilst fellow loanee Anwar El Ghazi has signed permanently too, with Villa doing business quickly.
Another left back is a key target for Dean Smith, and the Daily Mail report that Villa have lodged an enquiry for Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo to fill that role.
Huddersfield spent a huge £17.5million on Kongolo last summer (Sky Sports), and the Dutchman would be an exciting addition the Villa defence, especially considering his versatility to play at centre back.
For any Villa fans unsure about Kongolo, his former Huddersfield boss David Wagner summed him up. Back in November, Wagner told The Examiner that he thinks the 25-year-old is a ‘warrior’, having returned from a hamstring injury with a superb performance.

That’s the kind of grid, attitude and character that Villa will need to re-establish themselves in the Premier League, and it’s no great shock that he’s the kind of player and person that Smith would be interested in.
Huddersfield may well expect their money back for Kongolo, meaning Villa would be forced to spend big on the Dutchman – but it may well be a smart purchase with Wagner such a huge fan.
