Neil Taylor has been a regular in Aston Villa’s side under Dean Smith.

Sky Sports have reported that Aston Villa have suffered another set-back during the international break, as Neil Taylor has been forced out of the Wales squad with an injury.
The 29-year-old featured for the first half of Villa’s 3-0 win over Derby County last weekend, but was forced off at half-time with the injury currently unclear.
But it is that injury that has prevented the former Swansea City defender from adding to his tally of 41 Wales caps, as Ryan Giggs’ side prepare to face Denmark on Friday in the UEFA Nations League and then Albania in a friendly.
Taylor has been a mainstay of Smith’s side since the manager left Brentford to replace Steve Bruce, starting every one of Smith’s five matches in charge.

Now, the Telegraph report that Taylor is likely to be replaced by Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett, who has just three Wales caps to his name despite featuring for The Toon 152 times in all competitions.
Wales currently sit at the top of League B, Group 4 in the Nations League, but Denmark have a game in hand over Giggs’ side. Three points against the likes of Christian Eriksen and Kasper Schmeichel would see Wales gain promotion.
