Mo Salah will face his Egyptian team-mate Trezeguet as Liverpool face Dean Smith’s Aston Villa in Saturday’s Premier League clash on Saturday.

Trezeguet knows Mo Salah better than most but Aston Villa will not need him to tell them to be on their guard when they host Liverpool in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
Fresh from lifting the Champions League title in his second season with the Reds, Salah has started the 2019/20 campaign in typically fearsome fashion with eight goals and four assists to his name already.
And considering that Aston Villa have looked a little vulnerable defensively in recent weeks, losing 3-0 at Manchester City last time out thanks to a second-half collapse, Dean Smith will need his side to be far more solid than usual when the kings of Europe arrive at Villa Park.
Trezeguet has played alongside Salah in the Egyptian national team for a number of years and, ahead of what promises to be an intriguing fixture, he was keen to remind his team-mates of the Liverpool talisman’s game-changing qualities.
“You must always be on your guard with him because he is a good finisher in games,” Trezeguet, who joined Villa from Kasimpasa for £8.75 million over the summer, told the club’s official website.
“There are players like this, and during the game we must pay close attention to them, and make sure they are tightly marked throughout the game.

“During the game you hardly notice they are there but just when you feel that you have them under control this is the time when you realise how great they are as players.
“Salah is a great player and when his club or country really need him in games this is where he repays the trust they place in him.”
Trezeguet himself perhaps represents Villa’s best chance of a famous win over the early table toppers with his pace and direct style on the wings likely to cause problems to a Liverpool side whose full-backs spend far more time attacking than they do defending.
