Aston Villa have managed to turn their season around in recent weeks.

Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and highlighted the strength in depth present amongst the squad as something that gives him great belief as the club continues to move forward.
The 32-year-old Australian has played a key role in helping Steve Bruce’s men turn their season around, and the Villans have taken nine points from a possible 12 available since his return from injury.
The Midlands outfit now sit comfortably in 13th position in the Championship table, although their hopes of forcing their way inside the play-off spots seems a tad far-fetched, considering the 16 point gap that currently separates them and sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday.
But Jedinak shared the positive vibes he is currently feeling at Villa Park, when speaking to AVFC.co.uk, highlighting how his confidence stems from the quality present amongst the Villa squad:

“I think it’s definitely heading in the right direction. It definitely looks that way. You can see there’s a discipline about us. People are aware of what they’re up to and what they have to do. Even in unusual circumstances, where you have to make two subs, you’ve got guys that are capable of coming in and doing a job for you. I think that’s what I get a lot of heart out of – guys who haven’t had a lot of minutes coming in and doing a job for you.”
Bruce’s men head to Yorkshire tomorrow night, to take on third placed Huddersfield Town, and they will have their work cut-out if they are to continue their winning run against David Wagner’s well-drilled side.
The way they have been playing over the past two weeks though suggests that a victory against the Terriers is a real possibility.
And a win for Villa could take them back inside the top half of the Championship, depending on Cardiff City’s result against Blackburn Rovers.
