Experienced Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak sat down for an exclusive interview with the Birmingham Mail, and cited the discipline shown by his team over the past month or so as the key factor behind their resurgence.
Steve Bruce’s men have won six out of their last seven league games, and now find themselves sitting in 11th position in the Championship table, just 10 points adrift of sixth placed Fulham, with seven games still to go.
And the Australian explained how every single member of the Villa squad deserve credit for how they have managed to turn their disappointing season around, when speaking to the Birmingham Mail:
“The key thing with this run has been our discipline, when we’ve got the ball but also when we’re not in possession. I would commend everyone for their part in it.”

The 32-year-old’s positive influence on his side has been clear for all to see. Since his return to the first-team fold in February, the Midlands outfit have won six of the eight games that Jedinak has played.
The Villans play host to Queens Park Rangers in the Championship tonight, and a win could take them as high as ninth, should other results work in their favour.
And that would represent quite some turnaround, after some Villa fans were calling for Bruce’s head following their fifth straight loss in the league on February 20th.
