Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish has endured a difficult time since his integration into the first-team.
During an interview with the Birmingham Mail, Villa midfielder Jack Grealish hit back at suggestions that he doesn’t produce 100 per cent commitment on a regular enough basis, insisting that he gives everything for the club in every game he plays.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough over the last couple of days, as part of a potential swap deal involving Jordan Rhodes (the Mirror), but it appears that he will now be staying with the Midlands club, after his father ruled out a switch to Teesside for his son (Birmingham Mail).
Grealish sat down for an interview with the Birmingham Mail, and responded emphatically to critics who have suggested that he can appear lazy at times, without giving his all for the club:

“I try so, so hard to make a difference. I hate it when I hear people saying that I’m not trying hard enough because I put so much effort in. I don’t go flying into tackles and running around 100 miles-per-hour, that’s just not me. But to say I’m not trying is completely wrong. I give it everything, every game. And I will always give me all. That’s what it means to me playing for this club.”

Grealish has made 21 Championship appearances for the Villans so far this season, scoring three goals and chipping in with one assist.
And he will surely be looking to improve, from a productivity aspect, during the final third of Villa’s campaign, because he certainly has the talent to make more of a difference in the final third than he has done so far during his career with the Midlands outfit.
