The 23-year-old was linked with Tottenham Hotspur during the summer but despite finding the speculation hard to deal with, he remains committed to Villa.

As fan favourites go, Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish is the very definition of one.
Born in nearby Solihull, came through the ranks at Villa Park, stayed put during the club’s darkest times in years, and continues to shine for the team.
It’s taken him a while to truly get going this season, but since November he has scored twice and claimed two assists (Transfermarkt) as Villa won four and drew one out of the last five Championship games.
In the summer, financial troubles at Villa Park could well have led to a player exodus, with Tottenham Hotspur said to have been interested in Grealish, according to the Birmingham Mail.
However, a takeover in July and subsequent cash injection helped steady the ship and, as things stand, the Villans remain with a shout of Premier League promotion and the 23-year-old remains at the club.
Speaking to Sky Sports News about the summer interest, Grealish admitted that it was “difficult to deal with” but insisted that he wants to get Villa back into the top flight.

“The speculation was difficult to deal with because every young player wants to play at the top, especially when it’s a team in the Champions League,” he said.
“But when it didn’t happen, it didn’t bother me at all, because my dream as a kid was to play for Aston Villa and I would never ever take that for granted, so I got my head down and now hopefully I can get this club back to where it belongs.”
Grealish has made 131 appearances in total for Villa’s senior team, scoring 11 goals and claiming 18 assists.
