Aston Villa’s Axel Tuanzebe has had his say on Leeds United.

Aston Villa defender Axel Tuanzebe has told the Birmingham Mail that he is confident his side can beat Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.
Villa played out a 2-2 draw with Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, with Tammy Abraham and Jonathan Kodjia on the scoresheet at Villa Park.
Meanwhile, Leeds travelled to the University of Bolton Stadium to take on Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, and snatched a 1-0 win thanks to Patrick Bamford’s second half winner.
On Sunday, two of the Championship’s biggest clubs meet as Leeds travel to Villa Park to face Dean Smith’s free-scoring Villa side.
Leeds sit top of the Championship whilst Villa are in eighth, 12 points behind the Whites, but the two sides very much have aspirations of returning to the Premier League.
The winner of Sunday’s clash will have their promotion hopes significantly boosted, and it promises to be a close match between the two clubs.

Now, Villa defender Tuanzebe – on loan from Leeds’ rivals Manchester United – has laid down the gauntlet, suggesting that he is confident of a good result for Villa, feeling that beating them would send out a real message, whilst calling the two teams ‘titans’ ahead of the huge clash.
“Beating the league leaders would send a message out there,” said Tuanzebe. “That is our next target and we will be working hard this week to come up with a way to do it. That will be tough. I don’t think we can expect anything less. But we are going out to win. We don’t care who you are, what team we are playing against. We are going in to win. We respect the opposition but it is a game and you have to be confident in yourself and your ability to perform.”
“They’ll all be watching. It’s a big game. Anyone can beat anyone else in this league but winning this one would deliver a big statement and get us back on track. They are a big club and we are a big club. It will be two titans thrashing it out,” he added.
