Aston Villa supporters have grown frustrated with seeing Mile Jedinak in defence.

If Robert Huth does sign for Aston Villa, it should at least put an end to Steve Bruce playing Mile Jedinak at centre-back.
Villa appear to have missed out on signing John Terry, but they have other irons in the fire.
The Sun claim that Villa now want Huth, who they feel could enhance their defensive options.
Huth may be 34 and only a short-term option, but he would surely be an upgrade on Bruce’s current options.
Villa, rather bizarrely, decided to let Tommy Elphick go and that has meant Bruce has been forced to pick Jedinak to play in defence regularly.

The Australian international just does not look comfortable in the heart of Villa’s defence, as it isn’t his most natural position.
Bruce has suggested that he feels that Jedinak will eventually move into to defence permanently, but right now it is a selection decision which is consistently earning him criticism.
And Villa should be open to bringing in Huth, as it would help Bruce stop selecting Jedinak out of position.
