Aston Villa have had a busy transfer window, thus far, and it seems as though the newly-promoted club are going to continue adding fresh legs to their squad.

The last time Aston Villa completed a deal for a Scotland international, it produced outstanding results for the club.
Whilst Dean Smith has been busy during the summer transfer window, he is still trying to add more depth and quality to his attacking line.
Well, he should look no further than John McGinn’s international teammate, Ryan Fraser, who is seemingly available at £20 million.
The Daily Star have reiterated Arsenal’s interest in the 25-year-old winger, who enjoyed an outstanding campaign under Eddie Howe last season.
Fraser produced his best season to date when he scored seven goals and supplied 14 assists in the Premier League last season [transfermarkt].
Fraser is small of stature, but the results he produces on the field of play are quite brilliant. His work rate going back is outstanding, he can play on both flanks and his ability in the final third has improved by some distance.
He would be a perfect and ambitious addition from Smith, who perhaps needs that one more player to compete for a place out wide.

Anwar El Ghazi, Andre Green, Jota and even Jonathan Kodjia can deploy a role out on the flanks, but one more player would provide Smith with healthy options to choose from.
From all those players above, it could even be strongly argued that Fraser is better than them all. His record in the Premier League last season is proof of that.
Plus, he is at the right age to be a Smith player, and like Howe at Bournemouth, the Villa manager could take his game to the next level, and he could provide the Midlands side with that next level type of performances.
