Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is wanted by Chelsea, and Steve Bruce should try and work a trade into the deal.

According to a report on TeamTalk, Chelsea are interested in Jack Grealish, and Aston Villa should demand Callum Hudson-Odoi in any transfer.

Villa look likely to lose Grealish this summer, which will be a major blow to Steve Bruce’s side.

Villa relied upon Grealish to provide them with creativity last term, and without him their attacking threat will be significantly reduced.

The claret and blues simply do not have enough money to go out and buy a quality replacement for Grealish, which means they are going to have to find a bargain deal.

But doing business with Chelsea could provide Villa with an opportunity to solve the problem of replacing Grealish.

If Bruce asks for Hudson-Odoi on loan from Chelsea, then Villa could ensure that they still have a threat going forward.

The Chelsea youngster may not be a completely like-for-like replacement for Grealish, but he would have the ability to light up Villa Park in a similar manner.

The England youth international is blessed with great pace and dribbling ability.

And if Villa could get Hudson-Odoi, even just for a season, then it would soften the blow of losing Grealish significantly.
