Leeds United fans do not need reminding about the quality that Ross McCormack has.

There have been tentative suggestions that Leeds should make a move to sign McCormack ever since he started struggling at Villa, but the deal seemed an unlikely one at first.
McCormack is on a huge wage and, given the £12m fee Villa paid to bring the Scottish international in, it appeared that the claret and blues would want a big sum of cash to sell.
However, after failing to offload McCormack permanently, Villa are now said to be willing to cut their loses on the forward.

McCormack could now become a free agent in the summer, and Leeds should surely attempt to bring him back to Elland Road if he does.
Leeds are still looking for a new striker, as they have failed to find a particularly prolific goalscorer this season.

McCormack could fill that void, but Leeds would have to restore him back to his best.
McCormack has struggled in recent years, but during his last season with Leeds he hit 28 league goals and if he could do similar again, the 31-year-old could be a brilliant addition for Paul Heckingbottom’s side.
