Juventus do not consider Moise Kean to be an untouchable player in the summer window amid interest from Aston Villa, but his transfer would be ‘extremely complicated’ to agree.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who note the Bianconeri would only be prepared to sell the striker for in excess of €35m (£29m). The Serie A giants are determined to turn a profit on his services should Kean leave Turin just a year after returning to the club from Everton.

Massimiliano Allegri re-signed Kean last summer as he sought to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus secured a two-year loan deal with the Toffees that has an obligation to buy for €28m (£23.5m), plus a further €3m (£2.5m) in future add-on clauses.

Juventus also owe Everton €4m (£3.5m) for the second season of his loan back to the Serie A side he left in 2019. Marco Silva sealed a £25m deal, rising to £27.5m, for the 22-year-old whilst in charge at Goodison Park. But he only provided the Toffees four goals in 39 games.

Currently, there are no bids on the table meeting what Juventus would demand to sell the forward. Kean is also still determined to improve his standing at the Allianz Stadium and to regain his place in the Italy side. So, he could yet spend next term covering Dusan Vlahovic.

Aston Villa yet to advance interest after Juventus talks over Moise Kean move

Kean hit pre-season with a point to prove to Allegri, having arrived in great physical shape and also performing well. The 12-cap Azzurri attacker scored twice against Barcelona in a 2-2 draw, and will now hope to better his six goal, three assist haul in 42 games last term.

Aston Villa have shown an interest in offering Kean another chance in the Premier League after approaching Juventus. CalcioMercatoWeb claim Steven Gerrard’s side contacted the Bianconeri earlier in the window to ask for information as they explored attacking targets.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest have also shown an interest in signing Kean from Juventus after gaining promotion as Championship winners and via the play-offs last term. Gianluca Di Marzio noted in June that the pair were keen, but he was eager to wait for other offers.

Yet no appropriate offer appears to have fallen on the desks at the Allianz Stadium or with the agent of the forward Thomas Tuchel called ‘fearless’ on loan with Paris Saint-Germain.
