Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham is reportedly a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers, whilst Dean Smith’s side are interested in Kortney Hause.
Chelsea will decide on the future of Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham by January 14, whilst the deal for Wolves defender Kortney Hause is in danger of collapsing, according to a report.
The Telegraph claim that Abraham, who is on a season-long loan at Villa Park from Stamford Bridge, has a recall option in his contract which can be triggered by January 14.
It is said that Wolves want to sign the highly-rated 21-year-old this month as his parent club will make a decision on his future.
Abraham has netted 16 goals for Villa in the second-tier of English football this season as they currently sit outside of the playoff places in their race for promotion.
It is also said that Wolves are convinced Abraham can play for them during the second half of the campaign, despite the in-form attacker playing for Chelsea’s under-23’s and Villa this term – FIFA rules state no player can feature in matches for more than two clubs in a season.
If Abraham were to end his loan spell early in the Midlands then it would be a massive blow for manager Dean Smith, who is desperately trying to push Villa up the table and into the top six.
The report also details that Villa’s potential £2 million deal for Wolves centre-back Hause is in danger of collapsing because the Molineux-based club want almost double of what has been offered.
