Aston Villa prospect Oscar Borg is working his way back to fitness.
Aston Villa youngster Oscar Borg has offered an encouraging update on his fitness.
Villa signed Borg in the summer after his contract at West Ham expired, and he impressed on trial last season.
Borg is yet to make an appearance for the under-23s this season after picking up a serious injury soon after signing.
The 19-year-old has now offered an update on his injury, explaining that he is now getting back onto the training pitch.
The left-back is under contract at Villa until 2018, and will have to focus on making next year a big one.
There remains some hope he could get back to action before the end of this campaign, but it will not be for the first team.
The teenager is a left-back, who could potentially go on to replace France youth international Jordan Amavi one day if he moves on, but he will need a bit more luck if his Villa career is to pan out to be a success.
