Aston Villa will take on Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Wednesday night.

Aston Villa could make two changes to the team that beat Birmingham City 1-0 on Sunday as they look to continue their play-off march away at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Glenn Whelan, who produced an outstanding defensive display at St Andrew’s, could make way for John McGinn as Dean Smith might decide to add fresh legs into his midfield.
Added with that, McGinn completely changed the course of the game when he came on as a substitute in the second half. Plus, with three games in less than a week, Whelan will need to be kept fresh as Villa will also host Boro this Saturday.
The other change Smith could make for the City Ground clash is bringing in Andre Green for fellow winger Albert Adomah, who struggled to make his mark on the Blues players over the weekend.
Plus, for Smith’s high-pressing tactics, it adds more freshness out on the flanks as Villa will be looking to secure their third win on the bounce.
Playmaker Jack Grealish, who scored the winning goal against Blues, has changed his side’s form since his return to the starting XI a fortnight ago.
Three points against Martin O’Neill’s side and Villa could potentially find themselves one point behind the play-off pack with nine games of the season remaining.
