Can Aston Villa put their first points on the board when they host Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth on Saturday?

Aston Villa could make three changes to the team that suffered an opening day Premier League defeat as they take on Bournemouth on home soil this Saturday.
Dean Smith could potentially give a debut to £15 million summer signing Douglas Luiz [BBC Sport], who would provide more balance to the middle of the park as he could replace Conor Hourihane in the starting XI.
Many Villa supporters were surprised that Neil Taylor and Ahmed Elmohamady started the encounter against Tottenham, as both could now be replaced by Matt Targett and Fred Guilbert for their opening home clash of the season.
There were a number of players who were handed their debuts last Saturday, with winger Trezeguet impressing during the first-half as he should have arguably taken one of two big chances that were handed to him.
Nonetheless, he wasn’t the only one who impressed during that defeat against Spurs with centre-back duo Bjorn Engels and Tyrone Mings producing an outstanding display.

If the duo can produce those types of performances this season then it will no doubt bode well for Villa and their chances of having a pretty successful campaign.
Despite his poor performance on the opening day, winger Anwar El Ghazi might just keep his place in the starting XI, with midfield duo John McGinn and Jack Grealish no doubt certain starters.
Here is how Villa could potentially line-up against Bournemouth on Saturday:
