The Czech striker still loves his former club Lazio.
Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak has been revealing his undying love for former club Lazio over the weekend – just as Villa boss Steve Bruce says he can leave the club.
Speaking to Lazio Press he had this to day about his feelings toward his former club:
“I owe a lot to the Biancocelesti, I arrived very young and everyone made me feel at home. I experienced emotions that I hope to live to every person, that go beyond the game of football.

“I have no words to describe the Lazio fans. Every adjective would be superfluous. They make me feel their closeness through social media.
“No one knows how to love as the Biancocelesti fan, I’ll never forget them. “
Of course, if Lazio wanted him, they could probably have him back.
Manager Steve Bruce admitted that Kozak was likely to leave Aston Villa in January. He was speaking to the Birmingham Mail when he made it clear the Czech striker was likely to be on his way out of the exit door in the January transfer window:
“He needs to go and play football, so if we could get a home for him to go and play football, that would probably be good.”
Libor Kozak at Lazio
Libor Kozak cost the club a fee reported by the BBC to be in the region of £7 million back in 2013.
However, his time at the club has been unsuccessful. Despite signs of early promise a broken leg and subsequent injury issues saw his playing time restricted during his Aston Villa career and he has struggled for football at the club when fit.
He is currently behind Ross McCormack, Jonathan Kodjia, Jordan Ayew, Gabby Agbonlahor and Rudy Gestede in the Aston Villa pecking order and the likelihood remains he could be on his way out in the winter.
Whether Lazio would have him back is certainly up for debate.
