Aston Villa snapped up Lille winger Anwar El Ghazi on Wednesday.

Aston Villa new boy Anwar El Ghazi has told the club’s official website that he got goosebumps when he first saw Villa Park ahead of completing his move.
Villa played out a 2-2 draw with Brentford on Wednesday night, as Jonathan Kodjia twice brought Villa back from behind, including his late second equaliser.
Everton winger Yannick Bolasie was in the stands to watch Villa in action ahead of his move to Villa Park, and he isn’t the only wide man joining Steve Bruce’s squad.
Before kick off against Brentford, Villa confirmed a season-long loan deal for Dutch winger Anwar El Ghazi, arriving from French side Lille in an ambitious move.
Formerly of Ajax, El Ghazi appeared to be destined for a huge future having hit 23 goals in 100 games for the Amsterdam giants, whilst notching two caps for the Netherlands.
However, El Ghazi moved on to Lille in January 2017, but his time in France hasn’t been hugely successful, and the French side have moved to let the winger go.

El Ghazi spoke to the club’s official website after completing his move, and revealed that seeing Villa Park for the very first time gave him goosebumps, and he can’t wait to make his debut in front of amazing supporters.
“I am thrilled to join a football club of the size of Aston Villa,” said El Ghazi. “I visited Villa Park late last night after flying in from Holland and it gave me goosebumps. I can’t wait to get out there and experience it for real and play in front of such passionate fans,” he added.
