Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing a move for Mbaye Diagne.

Aston Villa are reportedly looking at a move for striker Mbaye Diagne, report Turkish outlet Aksam.

Diagne scored 11 goals for Galatasaray last season in 17 games and Villa are being linked with a £11 million move.

Diagne would be a luxury signing for Villa after a prolific transfer window so far this summer.

Signing Diagne would be a great move and help take the pressure off new striker Wesley.

Wesley, signed from Club Brugge, looks like a terrific addition, but it is a long season and he will have his ups and downs.

Diagne will not only provide him with competition, but he will take away some of the pressure.

For Villa that’s a price worth paying, to have two prolific strikers competing and helping each other out.

Diagne is talented enough in his own right to be worth buying. Having him available to line up alongside Wesley would be a dangerous combination if Villa looked to play both together.

For just £11 million, a move would be a bargain.
