Considered a first team player, expectations were that Tshibola’s presence in the starting line-up would help Villa win, but instead they slumped to a 3-0 defeat.

After the game, Tshibola may have sensed criticism, and posted a message on Twitter, against ‘haters’.

Tshibola is still just 21, and in his first season at Villa Park after signing from Reading in the summer.

Taking his frustrations out via social media is not always the most sensible strategy, and his message drew reaction from supporters.
