Fabrizio Romano has said on Twitter that Napoli are prepared to pay €400,000 (£336,305) as loan fee to sign Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe, who is on loan at Aston Villa at the moment.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has said that Napoli are in talks with Manchester United over signing Tuanzebe.
Villa are waiting for updates, according to the journalist.
Romano has added that the 24-year-old English defender is ready to leave Villa for Napoli immediately.

In our view, losing Tuanzebe in the January transfer window would be a blow for Steven Gerrard’s Villa.
The 24-year-old in now in his third loan spell at Villa and knows the club inside out.
Tuanzebe has grown as a player at Villa and remains an important player in the team, especially amid the current coronavirus situation.
The Manchester United-owned defender has made six starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Villa so far this season.
The Villa no. 16 has played twice in the Carabao Cup campaign this campaign.
Napoli are third in the Serie A table at the moment and are in the race for the Scudetto.
