James Chester has looked excellent for Aston Villa so far.

Aston Villa’s Leandro Bacuna has revealed to the club’s official website that James Chester has looked “very strong” since joining up with the Villans.
The 27-year-old joined Aston Villa earlier this month in a £9 million deal from West Bromwich Albion, according to The Mail.
Chester has impressed for Villa in his first three games so far and looked particularly solid in Saturday’s 0-0 draw away at Derby County.

The Welshman, who helped his country reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016 this summer, appears to have added a solidity to Aston Villa which they were majorly lacking last season as they were relegated from the Premier League.
And Bacuna is delighted to see how well Chester has taken to life with the West Midlands club.
“James Chester has looked very strong too. As long as we keep together I think we can have a really good season,” he told the club’s official website.

In the three games which Chester has started, Aston Villa have conceded once – and even that was something of a freak goal, caused by goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.
Indeed, Villa’s defence is looking pretty decent so far. If they can maintain that, and if tried-and-tested Championship hitman Ross McCormack hits the heights expected of him since his £11 million switch, then promotion might well beckon for Roberto Di Matteo’s boys.
