Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has denied interest in the pair, but they would be great additions.
Although Tony Xia has denied that Aston Villa are interested in Robert Snodgrass and Jordan Rhodes, the double deal could actually be worth pursuing.
Villa owner Xia was quick to refute the claims on social media, but the transfer could actually help the claret and blues take a major step closer to promotion.

Of course, there is an argument to suggest that Villa already have a squad capable of earning promotion.
But Snodgrass and Rhodes would increase Bruce’s attacking options even further, and the duo are both outstanding talents at Championship level.
Snodgrass and Rhodes are both struggling at their respective clubs, West Ham United and Sheffield Wednesday, currently but they are proven players at this level.
And if Villa can make room for more additions, by offloading some of their fringe players, then Snodgrass and Rhodes should be right near the top of Bruce’s transfer wish list.
