Aston Villa loanee Callum O’Hare is thriving in League Two with playoff chasers Carlisle United.

Aston Villa loanee Callum O’Hare expressed his delight on Twitter after he helped Carlisle United beat League Two leaders Lincoln City 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The 20-year-old started for his playoff-chasing side as they recorded a valuable three points in their race to finish in the top-six in England’s fourth tier.

O’Hare played the full match for his current club and after the game, he sent this message on his personal Twitter account as he was pleased with the win.

In January, Villa opted to send their highly-rated academy product out on loan and the move is seemingly paying off because his thriving in his new team.

He is a regular member of Steven Pressley side and with three games of the season remaining, he will be hoping to help Carlisle finish in the playoff places.

At this moment in time, they are one-point behind sixth-placed Exeter City as they travel to Grimsby on Monday afternoon for another crucial clash.

During his time at the club, O’Hare has scored one goal and supplied his teammates with two assists [transfermarkt] as he has been a creative force in the middle of the park this term.

When O’Hare returns to Villa Park in the summer, he will be hoping to force his way into the senior side because he has been knocking on the door for some while now.
