Anwar El Ghazi has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to Aston Villa central defender Kortney Hause signing a new contract with the Villans.
As announced on Villa’s official website on Thursday, Hause has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Premier League club.
The defender will now stay at Villa Park until the summer of 2025 at least.
El Ghazi recently joined Everton on loan from Villa until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Netherlands international winger is pleased to see Hause get rewarded wit a new contract, as you ca see from his post on Instagram below.
Good decision for Aston Villa and Kortney Hause
In our view, it is a good decision for both Villa and Hause that he will stay at the club for the long term.
Villa have a new manager in Steven Gerrard now, and the Liverpool legend clearly rates Hause.

In our opinion, the 26-year-old will now get more playing time for Villa than he got under Dean Smith.
The Villa no. 30 has made four starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
From Villa’s perspective, they can now ask for a good transfer fee for Hause if clubs come for him in the summer of 2022 or beyond.
