The England Under-21 defender has joined the Villa Park outfit for a reported £12million fee.

Ezri Konsa has taken to Twitter with a message for the Aston Villa fanbase following his move from Championship side Brentford.
The 21-year-old defender completed a medical with the newly-promoted Premier League outfit on Tuesday night and the paperwork was completed on Wednesday morning, the Bees said in a statement on their official website.
Konsa, an England Under-21 international, has made the switch for an undisclosed fee – reported by both Sky Sports and BBC Sport as £12million, his purported release clause – to link up with former Brentford head coach Dean Smith, now in charge at Villa Park.
The highly rated centre-back moved to Griffin Park from Charlton Athletic – where he had come through the ranks – just 13 months ago for a reported £2.5million fee (BBC Sport), and made 47 appearances for the Bees, establishing himself as a mainstay in their defence.
Here is what Konsa posted on Twitter after being unveiled at B6:
A number of Villa fans welcomed him to the club and wished him all the best in the claret and blue:
Villa have been busy in the transfer market following promotion to the top flight, with Tyrone Mings, Kortney Hause, Anwar El Ghazi, Matt Targett, Wesley and Jota all coming on board permanently prior to Konsa’s acquisition.
