The Villans ace was sent off in Sunday’s Championship game against the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.

Aston Villa legend Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to issue his verdict on Anwar El Ghazi’s red card against Leeds United having been rescinded.
The 23-year-old was sent off in Sunday’s fiery Championship game between the Villans and the Whites at Elland Road after referee Stuart Attwell had adjudged him to have struck opposition striker Patrick Bamford.
However, TV replays showed that El Ghazi had made no contact with his opponent and his red card, which carried a three-match suspension, has now been overturned by a three-person FA panel.
The incident between El Ghazi and Bamford came amid a melee between both sets of players after a controversial Leeds goal by Mateusz Klich, scored while Villa’s Jonathan Kodija was down injured, and was followed by Marcelo Bielsa ordering his team to let the visitors equalise.
In addition, the Leeds striker has been charged with “successful deception of a match official”, while both teams have been charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 72nd minute at Elland Road as per the relevant FA statement.
Taylor, who made upwards of 200 Villa appearances between 1994 and 2003, took to Twitter after the news came out, and he had just three words to sum up the incident:
El Ghazi, on loan from Lille, is thus available for the Norwich City game this weekend and for Villa’s subsequent playoff semi-final matches.
