HITC understands that Aston Villa and Middlesbrough have finally come to agreement over forward Morgan Rogers.
Rogers is heading to the Second City for his medical and will sign a long-term deal at Villa Park, ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Long chase for Villa
Aston Villa first launched a bid for Rogers almost two weeks ago, as revealed by HITC, but their opening offers were rebuffed by Boro.
The talks continued and earlier this week, Aston Villa stepped up their efforts to finalise a deal and now the two clubs have come to terms.
HITC understands that the overall deal is worth £15million guaranteed money to Middlesbrough – with an initial payment of £8million.
Rogers will become Villa’s second signing of the January window, having already captured young Red Star defender Kosta Nedeljkovic – although he will stay in Serbia until the summer.
Profit
The deal represents a huge profit for Boro, who paid little over £1million to Manchester City to sign Rogers. As part of the move City are owed a substantial sell-on.
It is not the first deal that Boro and Villa have done in the last 12-months, and earlier this month Finn Azaz moved to The Riverside.
