Micah Richards could be set to double his money if Aston Villa are promoted.

Aston Villa fans cannot believe Micah Richards could be about to double his wages, if Steve Bruce’s side are promoted.
Richards had his wages cut in half following Villa’s relegation to the Championship back in 2016, meaning he is now on £35,000-a-week.
The defender has not featured at all this season, with Bruce fearful of picking him due to his persistent injury problems.
Yet Richards could still earn a pay-rise if his Villa teammates are able to get promoted.
And Villa fans have urged the club to terminate the defender’s contract now, as they do not see what he can offer them.
Richards appears to have no chance of breaking back into Villa’s first-team, but selling him could be a problem.
Richards lack of game time means he is no longer an appealing signing, and his large wages mean that only a few clubs outside the Premier League would be able to afford his salary.
