West Ham United have loaned Robert Snodgrass to Aston Villa for the season.

Aston Villa fans want Robert Snodgrass signed up on a permanent transfer from West Ham United, after his fine start to life at Villa Park.

Snodgrass joined Villa at a time when he had endured a miserable six months at West Ham, but he seems to be full of confidence again now.

The Scottish international is getting better by the game, and is now playing a key role in Steve Bruce’s starting line-up.

Snodgrass has scored three goals and claimed one assist for Villa since joining on loan from West Ham.

And, after the 30-year-old winger found the back of the net against Preston in Villa’s latest fixture, supporters of the Midlands club have urged Bruce to attempt to sign him in January.

West Ham are unlikely to stand in Snodgrass’ way, if a permanent switch is offered to the experienced wide-man.

Snodgrass appears to have no future at the London Stadium, after failing to impress following his transfer from Hull City earlier this year.
