James Chester, Marvelous Nakamba, Jonathan Kodjia and Matt Targett are the subject of the latest Villa Park player fitness update.

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the latest player fitness update from Villa Park ahead of Monday night’s Premier League clash with West Ham United.
The Villans have confirmed on their official website that James Chester has made a return to full training this week, while Marvelous Nakamba, who has been building up his match fitness, is closing in on his Premier League debut.
Jonathan Kodjia and Matt Targett, however, are unlikely to make the Hammers clash, the former having picked up an “innocuous” head injury during the international break and the latter nursing a hamstring issue and is more likely to feature against Arsenal a week on Sunday.
Here is what some Villa fans have said on Twitter, with a number getting a bit frustrated with Kodjia being unavailable again, while others were buoyed by the Chester update:
Kodjia joined Villa in 2016 from Bristol City for a then starting fee of £11million (BBC Sport) and he netted 19 goals in his first season at the club (Transfermarkt).
His total Claret & Blue tally stands at 29 goals in all competitions, but he has only made one 16-minute cameo this season, in the Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
