The Villa captain once again misses out on the opportunity to get his maiden senior cap.

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to express their bemusement at Jack Grealish once again being overlooked by Gareth Southgate for the latest England squad.
The Three Lions take on Czech Republic and Bulgaria this month and the Villa Park club captain and talisman has been hoping to press into the nation’s senior set-up for some time now.
In March this year, Southgate suggested that Grealish needed to be playing in the Premier League to be considered for his England senior debut (The Telegraph), a feat he has achieved as he helped Dean Smith’s side into the Championship playoffs and to Wembley victory.
However, there were suggestions that the 24-year-old was set to miss out, with FourFourTwo saying he would “probably” not feature, while The Sun and The Guardian did not mention him in their reports on the potential call-ups for Thursday’s announcement.
Indeed, the official England announcement, as posted on their website and social media channels, confirmed as such, and some of the Villa Park faithful made their feelings known online:
Villa’s representation in the England squad comes in the form of goalkeeper Tom Heaton and defender Tyrone Mings as part of the 25-strong group heading to Prague and Sofia, where they will look to build on their 100 percent record in qualifying so far.
