Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, plus Villa Park summer arrivals Jota and Frederic Guilbert feature in Dean Smith’s latest update.

Guilbert is also to be assessed by the club’s medical staff after sustaining a dead leg in last weekend’s defeat to the Premier League leaders, initially playing through the pain barrier before coming off on 69 minutes.

Club captain James Chester, meanwhile, completed 90 minutes for the first time since January as Villa’s Under-23s claimed a 3-2 win over Newcastle in the Premier League 2 on Monday night.
