The Villa captain and hometown hero is eagerly awaiting Dean Smith’s side making their Premier League return.

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter to celebrate the one-month anniversary of his side winning the Championship playoff final and also to look forward at the historic club’s return to the Premier League.
The Villans get their pre-season underway next week ahead of friendlies against Minnesota United (in the United States), Shrewsbury Town, Walsall, Charlton Athletic and RB Leipzig (official website) before competitive football then returns.
For Dean Smith’s side, an exciting proposition awaits them in the first Premier League matchday of 2019-20 as they take on Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur away at their brand new stadium in the opening fixture.
In addition, the game on Saturday 10 August has been scheduled for television coverage with a 5:30pm kickoff, although all fixtures remain subject to change, and the following week is their first home clash, against Bournemouth at Villa Park.
Grealish, whose return to fitness in March was the catalyst for a superb run of form which culminated in a top-six finish and the triumphant playoff adventure, tweeted the following message:
