Aston Villa fans on Twitter think the club is about to announce a new signing.
A screenshot of the club’s official YouTube channel is doing the rounds on social media.
And it appears as if the club have uploaded a private video in a playlist entitled ‘New arrivals 2019-20’.
No thumbnail is visible on the video, making it impossible to identify who – if anyone – the club is going to unveil.
The Birmingham Mail reported on Friday that Aston Villa boss Dean Smith was planning to sign former player Jota in a £6 million deal, having won Premier League promotion.

It’s true that supporters’ of every club can let their imaginations run wild in the three-month lull between the end of one season and the beginning of the next one.
With that being said, it certainly seems like the Aston Villa fans might’ve dug into something of substance on this one, but time will tell.
