Aston Villa icon Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to congratulate his former B6 teammate Savo Milosevic for having clinched the manager’s job at Partizan Belgrade.
Milosevic, who turned out in claret and blue between 1995 and 1998, was confirmed as head coach of the Serbian club at the end of March, as was reported by Reuters.
The 45-year-old came through the ranks at Partizan and made his first-team debut for them in 1992, the striker spending three years there before his switch to Villa Park.
Collymore, who was at the West Midlands club between 1997 and 2000, posted a picture of himself and Milosevic on his social media on Wednesday, praising his ex-teammate.

After leaving Villa, Milosevic plied his trade for the likes of Real Zaragoza, Parma and Osasuna, as well as several loan stints at the likes of Espanyol and Celta Vigo – before seeing out his career at Russian club Rubin Kazan and retiring in 2008.
The retired forward, who won over 100 caps for Serbia – previously Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro – was briefly assistant manager of Montenegro in the early 2010s.
