Some Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the Villans with Rangers winger Ryan Kent.
What’s the story?
The Metro have reported that Villa manager Steven Gerrard wants to sign Kent from Rangers in the January transfer window.
Gerrard left his managerial role at Rangers last week and took over at Premier League club Villa.
It has been reported that one of the Rangers players Gerrard wants Villa to sign is former Liverpool winger Kent.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
What are Aston Villa fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Villa fans are not particularly keen on signing Kent from Rangers.
Well, some of them anyway.
Kent is a very good winger who developed and progressed a lot under Gerrard at Rangers.
The 25-year-old, who cost Rangers an initial transfer fee of £6.5 million (Sky Sports), has scored one goal and provided one assist in six Scottish Premiership matches so far this season.

The winger scored eight goals and gave seven assists in 32 league starts last season.
Now, Kent is a very good winger, but Villa do have quality attack-minded players.
Leon Bailey joined the Villans in the summer of 2021, while there is also Trezeguet and Anwar El Ghazi.
However, Gerrard has worked with Kent at Rangers and knows what he is capable of.
