Yannick Bolasie wished former club Aston Villa well in the Championship play-off final.

Several Aston Villa fans have expressed their gratitude to Yannick Bolasie after the Everton winger wished his former club well in the Championship play-off final later this month.
Bolasie spent the first half of the season on loan at Villa Park having found himself out of Marco Silva’s plans at Goodison Park. Unfortunately for the 29-year-old, he did not exactly capture the imagination with the Villans.
He scored twice and contributed four assists in 21 league appearances. And it was only in the months after his departure that Dean Smith’s side produced the run of form that has taken them all the way to the play-off final.
But following the end of his season at Anderlecht, Bolasie has sent an emotional message on Twitter to some of those associated with the clubs that he has been involved with this season, including Villa.

Bolasie – who cost Everton £25 million, according to The Sun – explained how difficult it was to leave Villa in January, while he also commented on the support that he received as well as their upcoming play-off final.
And in response, several Villa fans have praised Bolasie, with some suggesting that they wish that he was still at the club ahead of their Wembley showdown with Derby County. One supporter even suggested that the Villans should look to bring him back this summer if they are promoted.
